Horace Swaby was still in school when dub music was first being developed in the late sixties. He had already learned the piano, and one of his favourite hobbies was sneaking into the church and messing around with the organ. But Augustus Pablo, as he was later called, was to become famous for the most unlikely of instruments, the melodica. The instrument was used for teaching music at his school and his first melodica was lent to him by a girl in his class.
The rest as they say is history.......
