'Conscious Man', the Jolly Brothers first release was produced and recorded in 1978 by Lee Perry at the infamous Black Ark in Kingston, Jamaica. It was around this time that Perry succumbed to stress and outside influences, eventually taking it's toll on Perry, his career, and studio. Ultimately, The Black Ark fell into a state of disrepair and Lee burned it to the ground in a fit of rage.
Good luck finding this out-of-print gem on CD.
